We are hiring a hands-on Technical SEO Specialist who will personally implement technical SEO changes, not just audit and recommend them.
This role is execution-focused.
If you only deliver reports or rely on developers to implement everything, this role is not a fit.
What This Role Is About
Most websites struggle because:
Technical SEO issues are identified but never fixed
Plugins, scripts, and CSS pile up over time
Speed and Core Web Vitals regress after launches
Indexing issues are monitored but not resolved
Your responsibility is to find the issue and fix it.
Some tasks may be delegated, but you own the outcome.
Core Responsibilities
Technical SEO (Execution)
Implement and maintain:
Canonicals
noindex / index logic
Robots.txt
XML sitemap cleanup
Fix:
Duplicate and parameter URLs
Index bloat
Internal linking issues
Validate fixes using crawls and Google Search Console
Speed & Core Web Vitals (Hands-On)
Remove or replace unnecessary plugins
Configure performance plugins correctly
Clean up CSS and JS bloat caused by themes and plugins
Implement:
Script deferral
Lazy loading
Third-party script cleanup
Improve LCP, CLS, and INP with an SEO-focused approach
You are not required to write custom code, but you must be comfortable making production changes in CMS environments.
CMS & Plugin Ownership
Audit installed plugins and scripts
Remove legacy or redundant plugins
Ensure performance changes do not harm indexability or tracking
Tools & Skills Required
Google Search Console
Screaming Frog (advanced use)
PageSpeed Insights / Core Web Vitals
Chrome DevTools (analysis and validation)
WordPress, Shopify, or similar CMS
Strong spreadsheet skills
