Support Engineer: Modern Endpoint Engineer | Intune AI Automation

About the position We’re seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to design, implement, manage and support modern endpoint management across Microsoft and Apple ecosystems with a strong focus on automation, operational excellence, and DevOps-aligned practices. This role blends Intune engineering with automation /AI , CI/CD awareness, and continuous improvement in a multi-customer environment . Responsibilities • Microsoft Intune Engineering Design, implement, and maintain Microsoft Intune configurations for Windows and mobile devices • Lead customer migration projects to Microsoft Intune • Build, manage, and maintain: Compliance policies Configuration profiles Endpoint security policies and baselines Application deployments and assignments • Troubleshoot enrollment, policy, and application delivery issues; perform root-cause analysis and remediation • Support Windows provisioning workflows, including Autopilot-related processes • Support and administer Apple Business Manager (ABM) integrations with Microsoft Intune • Manage Apple enrollment workflows, including Automated Device Enrollment (ADE) • Support VPP app procurement, assignments, and deployment troubleshooting • Maintain and document repeatable enrollment standards and operational procedures for Apple devices • Create and maintain automation for common Intune and endpoint management tasks • Build scripts and repeatable processes to reduce manual portal work and improve consistency • Apply DevOps principles to endpoint and infrastructure workflows, including: Version controlled scripts and configurations CI/CD style automation pipelines where appropriate Standardized build, deployment, and configuration practices • Build, maintain, and monitor configuration standards across customer environments • Improve operational visibility and standardization through reporting, metrics, and structured outputs • Collaborate with peers to test, validate, and continuously improve automation and operational designs • Use AI tools to improve operations, documentation, troubleshooting, and customer outcomes • Collaborate with teams exploring AI driven workflows and automation enhancements • Contribute to or support initiatives using Microsoft Copilot, Connex AI, and/or Azure AI Foundry • Produce internal documentation, runbooks, and customer ready guidance • Partner with cross-functional teams to support escalations and standardize best practices • Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing to support and engineering teams • Contribute ideas and feedback to improve tooling, workflows, and service delivery Requirements • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune (MDM/MAM), including migrations, policy creation, app deployment, and troubleshooting • Solid understanding of endpoint security concepts and compliance controls • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences • Demonstrated ability to document processes and create repeatable operational standards • Experience with automation and scripting (PowerShell, GitHub, CI/CD and/or equivalent) with a mindset for continuous improvement • Familiarity with DevOps concepts such as configuration management, automation pipelines, testing, and version control • AI familiarity: Microsoft 365 Copilot (preferred), Copilot Studio (bonus), ConnexAI (bonus), Azure AI Foundry (bonus), or similar AI platforms • Interest in using AI to improve service delivery, documentation quality, and operational efficiency Nice-to-haves • Experience in a managed services or multi-customer environment • ConnectWise Manage / Asio RMM experience • MD-102 Certification • Bachelor's Degree • Previous consulting experience • Experience managing Apple devices using Apple Business Manager (ABM) & Intune Benefits • High-impact role with ownership over modern endpoint management strategy and execution • Opportunity to build automation and operational improvements that scale across environments • A team culture focused on continuous improvement, standardization, and smart use of emerging tools (including AI)
