Earthjustice’s Digital Fundraising & Engagement (“DFE”) is a key member of our Communications department and currently provides nearly 8% of Earthjustice’s annual $160M+ revenue, working to grow that revenue each year. The DFE team is seeking a summer 2026 intern. We are seeking undergraduate students who share a passion for justice and a healthy environment. The intern will support digital marketing for our fundraising and advocacy programs. The summer 2026 intern is expected to work 20-37.5 hours/week for 10-12 weeks. The successful candidate may work remotely from the U.S. or on a hybrid schedule from our San Francisco, CA or Washington, DC office. Responsibilities • Assist with content drafting and calendaring for email and SMS copy. • Assist with email and SMS production and QA. • Collaborate with marketing team on paid media or influencer integrations. • Research peer organizations, digital trends, and attending skill building activities. • Help analyze campaign performance, reviewing metrics like opens, clicks, conversions, and revenue to understand what’s working and why. • Participate in team, vendor, and campaign planning meetings. • Please note that the above serves as a guideline and that other duties may be assigned as part of the job’s requirements. Requirements • Enrolled in a college/university program as a junior or senior during fall 2026. • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Excellent attention to detail. • Collaborative spirit for working with peers in team-based environment. • Demonstrated commitment to Earthjustice’s values of Justice, Excellence, Inclusion, and Partnership.
