Kelly is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to support daily accounting operations and the month-end close process. The role involves performing financial statement reviews, maintaining reconciliations, and assisting with audits in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform monthly financial statement reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Prepare and complete general ledger reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts
- Assist with month-end close activities, including journal entries and variance analysis
- Maintain organized, well-documented workpapers supporting all reconciliations
- Identify discrepancies and partner cross-functionally to resolve issues promptly
- Support annual audits by preparing schedules and providing documentation
- Assist with process improvements to improve efficiency and accuracy
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Proficiency with accounting software, QuickBooks Online, and Excel (pivot tables, lookups, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- 1–3 years of accounting experience preferred
