About the position
Seven Seas Water Group is a private-equity-backed, high-growth international provider of critical water and wastewater infrastructure through their Water-as-a-Service® solutions. The Global Head of Human Resources is a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for building a scalable, performance-driven people platform that supports rapid growth, operational excellence, and long-term value creation.
This role goes beyond traditional HR leadership. The successful candidate will act as a hands-on business partner to the CEO and leadership team, translating growth strategy into actionable talent recruitment and retention, organization, and culture initiatives across a geographically diverse workforce. The Global Head of HR will further improve and scale people processes while maintaining the agility required in a PE-backed environment.
Qualified candidates must live in the Tampa Bay area, and will work a required 3 day in office schedule.
Responsibilities
• Enterprise HR Strategy & Value Creation
• Partner closely with the CEO, executive team, and private equity sponsors to align human capital strategy with growth plans, margin improvement, and operational scalability.
• Build and execute a global HR roadmap that supports organic growth, new market entry, and potential M&A integration.
• Drive organizational design initiatives to ensure the company is structured for speed, accountability, and performance.
• Talent, Performance & Leadership
• Establish a rigorous performance management culture focused on results, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Lead executive and leadership talent strategies, including succession planning, leadership assessment, and targeted development.
• Ensure the company attracts, develops, and retains top talent in competitive global markets.
• Manage and continue to reduce external talent management expense and build relationships and talent pipelines for continued rapid growth in the organization.
• Scaling Infrastructure & Processes
• Build scalable HR systems, policies, and processes that can support rapid growth across multiple countries and regulatory environments.
• Own process improvements and compliance activities for all of the companies’ global payrolls.
• Professionalize workforce planning, talent acquisition, onboarding, and development processes while maintaining operational flexibility.
• Implement data-driven HR analytics to inform decision-making and measure impact.
• Total Rewards & Incentives
• Design and oversee competitive global compensation, incentive, and benefits programs aligned with performance and value creation objectives.
• Partner with Finance and leadership to align rewards with EBITDA growth, productivity, and retention goals.
• Support equity, incentive, and long-term reward programs as appropriate in a PE-backed structure.
• Culture, Engagement & Change Management
• Build a high-performance culture that balances entrepreneurial mindset with discipline and process.
• Lead change management efforts related to growth, integration, leadership transitions, and organizational transformation.
• Promote employee engagement, safety, and retention across diverse regions while reinforcing consistent values.
• Compliance, Risk & Governance
• Ensure compliance with global employment laws, labor regulations, and governance standards across all operating regions.
• Proactively manage employee relations risk and sensitive people matters with sound judgment and discretion.
• Serve as a key partner to Legal and Finance on governance, ethics, and risk management and help promote safety culture throughout the organization.
• Team Leadership
• Build, lead, and develop a lean, high-impact global HR team capable of supporting a fast-growing organization.
• Act as a coach and thought partner to senior leaders and functional heads across the business.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in HR or a similar focus required; advanced degree strongly preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including senior leadership roles in PE-backed, high-growth, industrial or transformational environments.
• Experience managing employees outside of the U.S. strongly preferred, and working with employees of different cultural backgrounds.
• Experience leading DEIB programs, and ESG initiatives
• Preferred experience leading HR with multiple jurisdictions, including international experience with global payroll, labor, and benefits experience
• Proven experience scaling organizations, building infrastructure, and supporting complex global operations.
• Strong background in organizational design, performance management, and change leadership.
• Deep understanding of global employment practices and regulatory environments.
• Experience in infrastructure, utilities, energy, engineering, or other asset-intensive industries strongly preferred.
• Proven experience leading an HR & Talent team to meet growing workforce demands.
• Spanish language ability strongly desired
• Must have a valid U.S. passport and be able to travel domestically and internationally 15-25%
• Must live in the Tampa area, and be able to commute to the office 3 days per week.
