Opportunity
The Senior Counsel – Real Estate and Finance will be a valued member of the Legal team of the North American division of Edged Data Centers. We are looking for an outstanding attorney who can operate independently yet very collaboratively with business leads, the General Counsel, and the senior executive team.
The Senior Counsel – Real Estate and Finance needs to be an agile, team-focused individual, with proven professionalism, who is comfortable in a rapidly changing environment. The right person is highly organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, has excellent communication skills, can think strategically, and works equally as well independently as with a team. Key Responsibilities
• *Include But Are Not Limited To:
• Act as primary counsel to the Edged site acquisition and development teams
• Advise on a wide range of real property matters, including title and environmental issues, zoning and entitlements, acquisitions and dispositions, easements, covenants, tax incentives, development agreements, and joint ventures
• Lead negotiations of purchase and sale agreements, development agreements, and joint venture agreements
• Advise on a wide range of debt financing transactions, including project finance and real estate construction loans and stabilized financing vehicles (ABS and CMBS)
• Produce and maintain best-in-class contract forms and standards
• Manage and maintain relationships with outside counsel
• Work with business leads, the General Counsel and the senior executive team to continually refine proces
