JOB OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sourcing and Product Development Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing our supply chain by efficiently managing sourcing activities, negotiating with suppliers, and overseeing the product development lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and maintain a robust supplier database.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand product requirements and specifications.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
- Coordinate and manage the end-to-end product development process, from ideation to manufacturing.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, regulatory requirements, and timelines.
- Establish strong relationships with existing suppliers and explore new partnerships for strategic growth.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in sourcing and product development.
Requirements
- 5-10 years experience in sourcing and product development within a supply chain or related field.
- Strong negotiation skills and a track record of achieving favorable terms with suppliers.
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and product lifecycle management.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills to meet tight deadlines.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with international sourcing is highly desirable.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
- Experienced user in Excel and/or Google Sheet
