Job Title: Solutions Architect – Pre Sales Department: Engineering & Delivery Reports To: Director of Engineering & Delivery About Logiciel Logiciel Solutions is a growing engineering partner for startups and SMBs primarily in North America. We specialize in building scalable SaaS products, automation platforms, and AI-enabled solutions across modern cloud ecosystems. As we scale, we are strengthening our ability to engage earlier in the client journey. This role is designed for a technically strong architect who enjoys shaping solutions during the sales process while staying closely connected to delivery execution. Role Overview The Solutions Architect – Pre Sales plays a critical role in bridging sales conversations and engineering execution. This role will spend approximately 75 percent of time supporting pre sales engagements and 25 percent supporting delivery teams to ensure the proposed architecture translates successfully into implementation. You will work closely with the sales team, founders, and engineering leadership to understand client problems, design practical solutions, and convert opportunities into well structured engineering engagements. Key Responsibilities Pre Sales (Primary Responsibility) • Participate in early discovery conversations with prospects to understand technical requirements, constraints, and business objectives • Translate client needs into solution architectures that are practical for delivery teams • Lead technical solutioning for proposals, including architecture design, system diagrams, and implementation approach • Work with sales and delivery leadership to scope projects and define realistic effort estimates • Identify technical risks, dependencies, and unknowns early in the sales process • Prepare technical sections of proposals, including architecture summaries and solution approaches • Support sales presentations, technical discussions, and client Q&A during the evaluation process • Help shape reusable solution patterns and accelerators that improve proposal speed and quality Delivery Support (Secondary Responsibility) • Ensure smooth transition of projects from sales to delivery teams • Provide architectural guidance during early project phases such as discovery, design, and initial implementation • Review architecture decisions and ensure alignment with proposed solution design • Support engineering teams in resolving complex technical challenges when needed • Capture learnings from delivery and feed them back into pre sales solution patterns Required Skills & Experience • 8+ years of experience in software engineering, architecture, or technical consulting • Strong experience designing cloud-based SaaS systems • Experience with modern web application architectures (API-driven systems, microservices, distributed systems) • Strong familiarity with AWS cloud services and infrastructure design • Experience with JavaScript / TypeScript ecosystems and modern web stacks • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions • Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clients • Experience participating in or leading technical solutioning during sales cycles Technical Stack Familiarity The ideal candidate should have working familiarity with many of the following: • Node.js / TypeScript based backend architectures • React or modern frontend frameworks • REST APIs and event driven systems • AWS services such as Lambda, ECS, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, and CloudFront • DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code • Multi tenant SaaS architectures • Data systems and analytics pipelines Good to Have • Experience working with North American clients or global SaaS startups • Exposure to AI-enabled applications, LLM integrations, or automation platforms • Experience working in a services company or consulting environment What Success Looks Like • Sales opportunities move faster because technical clarity is established early • Proposed solutions are realistic and align with delivery capabilities • Engineering teams receive well defined architectures and project scopes • Reusable solution patterns emerge across projects
