Job Title: Social Media Content Creator Employment Type: Contract Pay Rate: $17.00-$20.00 per hour Work Location: Onsite across six retail locations in Omaha, Nebraska Position Overview Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking a creative and reliable Social Media Content Creator to support ongoing digital engagement across multiple retail locations in the Omaha area. This contract role focuses on capturing and producing engaging social media content that highlights in-store promotions, seasonal campaigns, and community-driven moments. The Social Media Content Creator will work closely with store leadership and marketing teams to develop content that increases local brand awareness and customer engagement. Key Responsibilities Content Creation and Social Media Management • Plan and develop social media content aligned with promotions, holidays, sales cycles, and in-store events • Capture high-quality photo and video content across multiple retail locations • Edit and produce short-form video and visual content optimized for social media platforms • Maintain consistent posting schedules to support engagement and visibility • Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines, tone, and visual standards Campaign Coordination and Collaboration • Partner with store leadership and marketing teams to stay informed on promotions and campaign priorities • Coordinate content creation timelines with marketing calendars and business initiatives • Gather campaign details and ensure accurate representation of promotions and messaging • Support marketing initiatives by preparing content for scheduled releases Creative Strategy and Brand Support • Identify and recommend creative content ideas based on current social media trends and seasonal opportunities • Develop engaging content that highlights products, promotions, and in-store experiences • Support local engagement efforts by showcasing retail locations and community involvement • Contribute to ongoing content strategy improvements Daily Activities • Visit retail store locations to capture product displays, promotional setups, and in-store content • Edit short-form videos, photos, and graphics for social media platforms • Prepare and organize content aligned with marketing and promotional calendars • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate content delivery Required Qualifications • Experience in social media content creation, photography, videography, or digital media • Familiarity with short-form video content formats and current social media trends • Ability to work independently across multiple locations and manage deadlines effectively • Strong attention to detail and creative storytelling abilities • Excellent communication and organizational skills Technical Skills • Proficiency with content creation tools such as Canva, CapCut, and Adobe Express or similar software • Experience using social media platforms and content publishing tools • Familiarity with social media scheduling and analytics tools within Meta platform environments • Ability to capture, edit, and produce high-quality visual content Education and Experience • No formal degree required • Relevant hands-on experience in social media, digital media, marketing, or content creation preferred Work Environment • Onsite role supporting multiple retail locations in Omaha, Nebraska • Standard business hours with flexibility for occasional promotional or event coverage • Frequent travel between retail locations required • Regular use of camera equipment, editing software, and social media tools Why Work with Wheeler Staffing Partners?
