Social Media Content Creator & Strategist (Part-Time / Freelance, NYC) Lettonne is building a living digital archive of fashion, performance, and community. Our team is looking for a short-form digital storyteller to embark with us on this next chapter of our journey. As our Social Media point-person, we'll expect you to capture behind the scenes content of Lettonne’s process while also helping to produce our calendar of regular content releases (fashion campaigns, dj mixes, event announcements). Ideally you are someone who is clued into the scene, who can drop into our studio during the day or join us for a late-night set to capture honest moments in our journey that people are excited to witness and share. Role: Hybrid (NYC only). 10–20 hrs/week. In-person coverage in Greenpoint and around the city. What You’ll Do: Pitch & shape stories that highlight our experimental, collaborative process; design details and use-cases; the artists we platform; our sustainability research; and our mission to support peers. Capture & craft short-form (Reels, TikTok, Stories, Shorts) using CapCut, Canva, or Adobe. Taking a concept end-to-end from idea to polished cut, optimized per channel. Be present on set, backstage, in the crowd, responding, amplifying, and centering audience voices in-person and online. Host if you feel comfortable on-camera to interview, narrate, or embody the Lettonne voice. (Camera-shy storytellers welcome; a strong journalistic POV is just as valuable.) Measure what matters; track performance, share learnings, and iterate with the team without chasing vanity metrics. What We’re Looking For: 2-3 years in social media strategy and content (agency or in-house) ideally within fashion, music, hospitality, or beauty but alternative startup/campaign backgrounds work too. Proven taste and timing with a portfolio or active feed showing crisp editing/design, on-the-spot capture, and clear messaging. Cultural fluency track and forecast movements in fashion/music/dance and know how to translate that energy into resonant, community-first content. Analytics comfort ability to read the room and the dashboard, prioritizing community fit over empty reach. NYC-based, hybrid ready, willing, and able to attend shoots, fittings, rehearsals, and nightlife coverage (occasional evenings/weekends).
