We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled SoC Architect to lead the design and development of advanced System-on-Chip (SoC) architectures for next-generation products. In this role, you will define system-level architecture, drive design decisions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance, power-efficient, and scalable silicon solutions.
This is a fully remote position requiring deep technical expertise in semiconductor design, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to guide complex engineering programs from concept to production.
Key Responsibilities
* Define and develop end-to-end SoC architecture, including CPU, GPU, memory subsystems, interconnects, and peripherals
* Lead architectural trade-off analysis for performance, power, area (PPA), and cost optimization
* Collaborate with RTL, verification, firmware, and physical design teams to ensure alignment across the design lifecycle
* Develop high-level system models and simulations to validate architectural decisions
* Define hardware/software partitioning and system integration strategies
* Drive interface definitions, communication protocols, and data flow optimization
* Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of SoC designs
* Review and guide microarchitecture design, verification plans, and implementation strategies
* Work closely with product management and stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals
* Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams

* 8+ years of experience in SoC architecture, semiconductor design, or related domain
* Strong understanding of digital design, microarchitecture, and hardware system integration
* Experience with industry-standard architectures (ARM, RISC-V, or similar)
* Proficiency in hardware description and modeling languages (SystemVerilog, Verilog, or C/C++ for modeling)
* Deep knowledge of memory hierarchy, interconnect protocols (AXI, NoC), and power management techniques
* Experience with performance modeling, simulation, and validation tools
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
* Excellent communication skills for remote collaboration
* Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (valid U.S. work permit required)
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with advanced node semiconductor processes (7nm, 5nm, or below)
* Familiarity with AI/ML accelerators, high-performance computing, or edge computing architectures
* Knowledge of security architectures and hardware-level encryption
* Experience with FPGA prototyping and silicon bring-up
* Prior experience working in distributed or remote engineering teams
