About the Role and Amazon's Shopper Gadgets Innovation Team

The Shopper Gadgets Innovation team is part of Amazon's North America Stores (NAS) organization and is responsible for driving CX advancements across the shopping journey on Amazon's website and mobile application. This team focuses on developing innovative solutions to improve the start-to-finish experience for customers seeking shopper gadgets on Amazon. As a Sr. PMT, you will be working closely with various teams across Amazon, including software development, product management, UX design, central technology teams, and retail category teams to deliver top-tier CX and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Own product strategy and execution for a large, significant program aimed at improving the shopping experience for millions of customers worldwide.
• Collaborate with design, Client Experience design teams, technology/ML teams, Personalization, category business teams, and others to align a vision and execute it.
• Create PRFAQs and vision documents to communicate the vision for novel ideas.
• Write product requirements/client stories and iterate with input from key stakeholders.
• Own a product roadmap and make trade-off decisions as needed, based on shopping data, customer feedback, customer analysis, and business inputs.
• Develop and own key performance metrics for your initiatives and conduct deep dives as needed to analyze anomalies, cannibalization issues, etc.
• Work closely with category management on business strategies to drive top-tier CX and maximize unit and sales growth through timely analysis and action.
• Foster an understanding of relevant CE business trends/events and continuously monitor competitor/industry developments.

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM).
• 4+ years of product management or consulting experience.
• Excellent business writing skills.
• Experience managing relationships with stakeholders and vendors/partners.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with senior business leaders and partner business/tech teams.
• Experience in defining or collaborating on the design of customer-facing products/technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or advanced technical degree.
• Experience in an online, retail, e-commerce, or consulting environment.
• 4+ years of technology product management experience creating software-based products and experiences.
• Deep industry understanding and familiarity with online innovations.
• Strong track record of shaping business strategies and driving product teams in meeting the needs of a rapidly growing business.
• Experience with ML/Applied Science/Large Language Models (not required, nice to have).
• Strong results-driven mentality.
