Senior Physician Recruiter
The Senior Physician Recruiter will be responsible for strategically developing and executing the end-to-end hiring process for Physician roles within the organization while ensuring superior candidate experience in order to attract top Ophthalmologists and Optometrists for EyeCare Partners and its affiliates. The Physician Recruiter will manage physician recruitment and placement activities across multiple practices while maintaining relationships with clinical leaders to ensure a full understanding of how business needs translate to Physician experience. The Physician Recruiter will serve as communication liaison with leadership, candidates, physicians, and the TA organization.
The ideal candidate will have a hunter mentality with a dose of healthy competitiveness. This candidate will do what it takes to ethically find, attract, and hire Physicians for their respective practices. We will consider remote candidates for this position with exceptional skills and experience aligning to our needs.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and implement strategic sourcing plans to create a pipeline of passive candidates for positions using internet resources; including resume databases, social media, LinkedIn, Job Boards, and industry specific networks.
• Develop and manage recruitment marketing plans or sourcing plans to determine the most appropriate candidate sources that align to the search requirements.
• Capture candidate activity in ATS
• Consult business leaders and Sr. Executive Team on current and future talent needs.
• Routinely report on vacancies, pipeline, expected hire dates and candidate activity
• Manage Doctor candidate workflow including preparing and distributing written candidate paperwork, including summaries, curriculum vitae and references
• Be an ambassador for EyeCare Partners and its affiliates.
• Attend local and national conventions, conferences and university recruitment events
• Regularly report on and meet recruiting metrics
• Partner with universities and area professional associations to establish and promote employer brand
• Partner closely with other recruiters and team members in Human Resources to improve processes in areas such as compensation, engagement, onboarding, turnover, and retention
Minimum Requirements:
• 5 or more years of demonstrated recruiting and marketing success in a professional environment required, recruiting in a clinical healthcare environment preferred
• Understanding of interview workflow
• Experience with applicant tracking systems
• Ability to work in a fast paced, quickly changing environment
• Relentless attention to detail and accuracy
• High attention to process and a passion for process improvement
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, marketing or related; or appropriate combination of education and experience.
• Ability to function independently (minimal direct supervision) and in a team environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
