Senior Manager – Procurement Consulting & Transformation

Location: Remote (US-based), East Coast preferred Compensation: $170,000–$205,000 base + 30–40% performance bonus Travel: As required based on client needs • *About the Role** We’re hiring a Senior Manager to lead cost take-out and sourcing optimization programs for our clients. You’ll own delivery, grow key accounts, and help build our US practice — ideal for someone with entrepreneurial instinct who wants a fast track to Director/Partner. • *What You’ll Do** • Lead client programs end-to-end: diagnostics, category strategies, RFPs/e-sourcing, supplier negotiations, implementation, and benefits tracking. • Drive hard savings across Direct categories (e.g., ingredients/commodities, packaging, co-manufacturing/co-packing, logistics) and Indirect categories. • Be the face of the account: C-suite engagement, steering committees, issue/risk management, and clear executive communication. • Grow revenue within accounts: identify opportunities, shape proposals/SOWs, and convert follow-on work. • Coach a small, high-performing team; set standards for analysis, commercial modeling, and supplier engagement. • Contribute to strengthening and scaling the US practice. • *Must-Have Experience** • Extensive experience in procurement consulting, with a proven track record leading cost take-out and procurement transformation engagements. • Strong experience independently leading and expanding client assignments. • Hands-on delivery of sourcing optimization across Direct and Indirect categories. • Strong command of category management, strategic sourcing, RFP/e-sourcing, should-cost/BOM modeling, and supplier performance governance. • Comfortable managing senior client stakeholders. • Excellent commercial writing (decks, business cases) and strong data fluency (Excel/Sheets; Power BI/Tableau a plus). • *Nice to Have** • Experience in Consumer or Food sectors, particularly COGS optimization across co-manufacturing, packaging, and ingredients/commodities. • Experience working with Private Equity–backed or sponsor-led businesses. • *Compensation & Benefits** • Base salary: $170,000–$205,000 • Performance bonus: 30–40%, tied to delivery impact and engagement performance • Medical, dental, and vision coverage • 401(k) with employer match • 20 days PTO plus public holidays • Remote flexibility • *About Enabling Procurement** Enabling Procurement is a growing boutique procurement consulting firm with an expanding US presence.
