About the position
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Analyst, Global Sourcing & Procurement to lead and manage the quarterly cost allocation process, including Index and P&R extracts. This hybrid role partners closely with Finance, IT, and Operations, ensuring accurate cost distribution to funds and clients, resolving technical issues, and driving continuous process improvement.
Responsibilities
• Cost Allocation Program Management Lead end-to-end cost allocation initiatives across departments, programs, or cost categories, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Design, enhance, and maintain cost allocation methodologies, applying sound financial judgment and documenting assumptions, decisions, and changes.
• Own and maintain comprehensive documentation, including allocation methodologies, exception handling, new cost decision, governance standards, and audit support materials.
• Partner with Finance, Operations, and program teams to gather, validate, and analyze cost inputs and allocation drivers; proactively identify risks, gaps, and data quality issues.
• Prepare clear, concise reporting, analysis, and presentations for senior internal stakeholders and audit or external review needs.
• Analysis & Process Ownership: Independently run the quarterly cost allocation process, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of Index and P&R extracts in close coordination with Finance.
• Serve as the primary business owner and subject-matter expert for the cost allocation tool and related extracts.
• Partner with IT to triage, prioritize, and resolve defects, enhancements, and new requests; maintain and manage a backlog of technical requests and ensure alignment with business priorities.
• Own the review, validation, and communication of business exceptions and newly identified costs.
• Manage the end-to-end process for onboarding and passing through new costs to fund and clients, ensuring proper controls and transparency.
• Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities to enhance scalability, efficiency, and controls within the cost allocation process.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, cost allocation, business analysis or process improvement.
• Proficiency in Excel; working knowledge of SQL, Jira, or similar workflow and data tools.
• Proven ability to operate independently, manage competing priorities, and exercise sound judgment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
