About the position
SAP Basis Technical Program Manager (T4) Duration: 01/01/2026 – 12/31/2026 Location: Remote (U.S.) Work Arrangement: Fully Remote Requirements: U.S. Citizen only Possible convert to hire Role Overview This is a customer-facing role supporting large and strategic enterprise customers . The SAP Basis Technical Program Manager acts as the primary technical advisor , owning the customer’s SAP landscape and leading all technology and cloud service delivery discussions throughout the SAP RISE journey.
Responsibilities
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers regarding SAP technology and cloud service delivery
• Partner with the Client Delivery Manager (CDM) to maintain regular stakeholder cadence and manage service delivery expectations
• Lead and own technical discussions , coordinating with internal SAP delivery experts as needed
• Maintain a deep understanding of the customer’s SAP landscape and system interdependencies
• Support account and technical operations teams in executing service delivery plans and schedules
• Analyze customer technical requirements and drive issues to resolution by coordinating the appropriate technical experts
• Present technical offerings, architecture details, and engagement models to internal and external stakeholders
• Guide customers on Business Continuity, Security, Compliance, and Network architecture
• Assess customer security and network requirements to ensure alignment with SAP security architecture standards
• Conduct monthly technical and operational reviews against cloud architecture and roadmap
• Drive issue resolution plans through to completion
• Support SAP migration and modernization roadmaps in collaboration with partners, system integrators, and SAP professional services
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Management
• Strong knowledge of SAP product portfolio and solution offerings
• Proven technical project/program management and customer-facing experience
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
• Strong engagement management, relationship-building, and de-escalation skills
• Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
• Understanding of SAP solution releases, platform interdependencies, and cloud-based operations
• Experience with at least one hyperscaler: AWS, Azure, or GCP
• 4+ years SAP Basis administration experience (required)
• 4+ years customer-facing SAP technical consulting
• 4+ years solution design, enterprise architecture, or SAP implementation experience
• 2+ years technical project management for SAP operations or implementations
Nice-to-haves
• SAP NetWeaver, OS/DB migration, or SAP HANA certifications
• Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• SAP HANA / S/4HANA experience
• Cloud security experience (cybersecurity, encryption, key management)
