Description
This position requires an individual with strong analytical and communication skills and the ability to work in partnership with respect to other credit union functions. The incumbent will be self-motivated and have excellent administrative, time management, problem solving and prioritizing skills.
Requirements
The preferred candidate has completed a University Degree in Business or a related program. In addition, the ideal candidate will have four to five years’ retail underwriting experience. Previous credit union experience would be considered an asset. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered as well as other relevant working experience.
Summary
Under department leadership, the Retail Credit Underwriting Officer enriches member lives by providing, timely and accurate information and exemplary retail credit underwriting service to internal user groups and membership. This position is responsible for the day-to-day activities of the credit union’s retail credit underwriting services as well as other administrative duties as required.
