lululemon is an innovative performance apparel company focused on creating transformational products and experiences. The Research Program Coordinator will coordinate and support innovative platforms related to active apparel, bridging research and product creation to enhance apparel experiences.
Responsibilities
- In partnership with Research Manager, coordinate and manage the Evergreen portfolio in support of functional apparel
- Be the central point of contact for project tracking, facilitating team discussions, cross-functional connections and platform optimisation across internal and external projects
- Coordinate and manage multi-platform reports and dashboards as well as capturing, consolidating and reporting of high quality technical and program documentation
- Collaborate and improve visibility of Evergreen across the Product Innovation and wider business teams by proactively building and promoting scalable tools that translate research findings into evidence-based actionable insights for design, development, and executive stakeholders
- Support the exploration and implementation of research innovation practices and strategic directions that will continually build and optimise research knowledge to commercialisation
Skills
- Master's degree or above in a relevant research field (e.g. materials, biomechanics, physiology, psychology, kinesiology)
- 1-2 years of applied R&D industry is an asset
- Experience with the university research system including writing and successfully delivering proposals for academic-industry grant agencies (e.g. MITACs, NSERC)
- Strong technical foundation who understands and can interpret scientific findings across our diverse research areas
- Strong communicator with the ability to take complex research knowledge and synthesise them into accessible, engaging formats for cross-functional partners
- Fluent in designing, maintaining and visualising unstructured data using advanced tools (e.g. Smartsheet, PowerBI, custom analytic dashboards)
- Has experience experimenting and leveraging LLMs and agentic AI tools for project management and research knowledge generation
- Experience with managing multiple projects and teams simultaneously ensuring deadlines, reporting requirements and partner needs are met
- Comfortable serving as the 'hub' for information flow between multiple teams
- Very high attention to detail and can apply systems thinking to manage complex systems of research, data flows and automation
- Authorization to work in Canada is required for this role
