Business Financial Group is a growing accounting and advisory firm seeking a Team Manager Trainee to develop leadership skills in professional services management. The role involves coordinating client service teams, monitoring performance indicators, and supporting operational excellence over a training period of 6 months.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Team Manager in coordinating workflow across accounting and tax teams
- Track project timelines and ensure deadlines are met
- Monitor workload distribution and production schedules
- Assist in tracking team KPIs such as productivity, realization, and project completion timelines
- Prepare reports and identify operational bottlenecks
- Support client onboarding processes
- Coordinate document collection and client communications
- Ensure smooth project delivery and client satisfaction
- Support the billing process and follow up on outstanding invoices
- Monitor billing cycles and ensure timely collections
- Work closely with department managers, accountants, and administrative staff
- Assist in resolving workflow challenges and improving operational efficiency
- Identify opportunities to improve systems, workflow, and internal processes
Skills
- MBA or Master's degree in Business, Management, or related field
- Strong interest in operations management within professional services
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Internship or experience in operations, project management, consulting, or professional services
- Basic familiarity with accounting or financial services industries
