The Learning & Development Specialist will design and deliver learning strategies and curricula to support large-scale technology and organizational transformation initiatives, translating complex technical concepts into practical learning experiences for various stakeholders.
Responsibilities
• Partner with program, product, engineering, and change leaders to develop learning strategies that support SDLC implementations and technology transformation initiatives
• Conduct learning needs assessments tied to new systems, tools, platforms, and ways of working
• Design and develop role-based learning assets, including: Instructor-led and virtual training, E-learning and microlearning content, Job aids, playbooks, and reference materials
• Translate technical concepts (e.g., SDLC processes, DevOps practices, platform changes) into clear, consumable learning experiences
• Support learning deployment, facilitation, and adoption measurement across impacted teams
• Collaborate closely with change management, communications, and delivery teams to ensure learning aligns to broader transformation goals
• Track learning effectiveness and continuously iterate based on feedback and program outcomes
Skills
• 5+ years of experience in Learning & Development, instructional design, or enablement, ideally within consulting or complex enterprise environments
• Hands‑on experience supporting technology transformations, SDLC implementations, or large system builds
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
• Proven ability to work effectively in ambiguous, fast‑moving environments
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor content for technical and non‑technical audiences
• Comfortable working independently and with a team
• Experience supporting software development, DevOps, cloud, or platform modernization programs
• Familiarity with change management principles and adoption measurement
• Experience developing learning for highly regulated or risk‑sensitive environments
• Consulting background supporting cross‑functional client teams
• U.S. Citizenship is required
• Must be willing to successfully complete: Background check, Drug screening, Any additional client or regulatory clearance requirements
