The role involves optimizing pipeline performance, ensuring data reliability, and collaborating with stakeholders to clarify requirements. Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines in Databricks
• Retrieve, transform, cleanse, and deliver data from various sources
• Optimize pipeline performance and troubleshoot bottlenecks
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and self-recovery capabilities within pipelines
• Ensure data reliability, accuracy, and system stability
• Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify vague requirements and propose solutions
• Maintain strong ownership of delivered pipelines and ongoing operations
Skills
• Strong SQL experience
• Strong Databricks experience (SQL + Python)
• Experience building ETL/ELT data pipelines
• Ability to independently monitor and maintain production workflows
• Strong problem-solving skills; proactive mindset
• Comfortable working with ambiguity
• Healthcare data experience (preferred, not required)
• Experience with pipeline automation and recovery workflows
