Job Overview:
We're seeking an exceptional Product Manager to join our team at GOBankingRates, a leading destination for personal finance news and information. As a Product Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the execution and delivery of our product roadmap, leveraging your expertise to ensure seamless integration and optimal functionality. This is a 100% remote opportunity, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere in the USA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver high-quality products, including new internal CMS and site features, by writing and defining user stories with clear acceptance criteria
- Lead cross-functional teams, including Design, Development, QA, Operations, and Business stakeholders, to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality products
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure product features are technically feasible, scalable, and align with the company's technology roadmap
- Prioritize and manage the product backlog, focusing on delivering high-impact features that meet customer needs and business objectives
- Develop a deep understanding of customer pain points and motivations, using data analysis, user research, and market trends to inform product decisions
- Apply Agile principles and methodologies to ensure iterative and incremental delivery of product features
Requirements:
- 2-5+ years of relevant experience in digital product management or product ownership in web, e-commerce, fintech, or media/advertising companies
- Proven experience using data to make decisions, with a strong background in analytics and understanding of concepts such as statistical significance and AB testing best practices
- Background in Agile principles and best practices, with experience facilitating sprint planning, backlog grooming, and cross-functional collaboration
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver technical information succinctly and assertively to non-technical audiences
- Complex problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with a solutions-oriented mindset
