Location: Remote work from home and must live one of the following states: Idaho, Arizona, Tennessee, Wyoming, or Kansas. | Hours: 8:00am–5:00pm [the timezone you live in]
Type: Full-time, W-2
Reports to: Operations Manager
About the Role:
You’ll own the end-to-end prescription order flow: submitting patient orders to partner pharmacies, tracking shipments, updating medical system and CRM, and keeping patients and our team informed. Success in this role means zero patient-safety errors, on-time submissions, and clear communication—you are required to own this role and self-manage your day. If you are capable of working autonomously and do not need someone looking over your shoulder every hour of the day, then this is a great option for you.
What You’ll Do
• Submit prescriptions/orders to the correct pharmacy following step-by-step Standard Operating Procesdures and state rules.
• Update Salesforce (medical health records system) at each stage (notes, statuses, links) and maintain an orders tracker.
• Verify medication, strength, dosing, address, and contents before submitting/marking complete.
• Monitor shipping & tracking; notify patients and internal stakeholders proactively.
• Operational goals achieved daily (e.g., submit within 2 business hours of payment; same-day tracking notifications, proactive and solution oriented).
• Troubleshoot issues (missing packages, pharmacy constraints, patient questions) and escalate with a plan.
• Identify process gaps and improve business processes to prevent repeat errors.
• Customer service inquiries; Handling patient requests, discussing treatments and how they are administered over the phone to patients, and being an advocate for our patients.
• Patient guidance; Includes coaching patients on how to best be successful, and troubleshooting side effects. All guidance you provide to the patient will be pre-approved from our medical team.
What Success Looks Like
• 0 patient-safety errors (wrong med/strength/dose/address).
• Handling patient inbound/outbound calls and solving problems.
• Being a positive team player that takes pride in their work.
• Supporting cross functional teams to ensure business success.
• Independent problem-solving and proactive communication.
• Capable of working from home without distractions.
You Are
• A self-starter who thrives with clear outcomes, not hand-holding.
• Detail-obsessed: you double-check names, strengths, doses, addresses, and attachments.
• Process-driven: you follow checklists and also improve them.
• Calm under pressure, professional with patients, and disciplined working from home.
Requirements
• 1–3+ years in medical operations, pharmacy tech, patient coordination, or healthcare logistics.
• Comfortable with EHR/CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and Google Workspace.
• Proven remote work discipline (quiet workspace, reliable internet, responsive during hours).
• Understanding of HIPAA and urgency around patient safety.
• Strong written communication; concise status updates.
• 5 professional references.
