Part-Time QA Tester (Shopify | Beauty eCommerce)
MUST HAVE SHOPIFY EXPERIENCE!!!
We’re seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time QA Tester to support the ongoing testing, performance, and optimization of our Shopify site. This role is responsible for identifying issues quickly, improving site functionality, and helping deliver a seamless customer experience across desktop and mobile.
Responsibilities
• Test Shopify site updates, launches, and promotional changes
• Validate critical customer journeys including product pages, cart, checkout, and subscriptions
• Identify, document, and report bugs, UX issues, and site inconsistencies
• Troubleshoot and support resolution of site speed and performance issues
• Perform regression testing after releases and updates
• Ensure a flawless mobile-first experience across devices and browsers
• Collaborate closely with marketing and development teams
Qualifications
• Experience with Shopify QA, including themes, apps, and checkout testing
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Cypress or Playwright
• Experience with performance testing tools such as Google Lighthouse or GTmetrix
• Familiarity with Postman for API testing
• Experience with cross-browser and cross-device testing; BrowserStack is a plus
• Experience testing Shopify geo marketplaces
• Familiarity with VPN-based testing tools such as TunnelBear, Localize, or similar
• Awareness of automated Shopify QA and monitoring tools such as Uptime and TestCard
Nice to Have
• Experience with visual QA tools such as Percy
• Exposure to CI/CD workflows, such as GitHub Actions
• Background in beauty, wellness, or direct-to-consumer brands
