Podcast Growth Strategist (Consulting Engagement – Niche B2B)
We host a niche industry podcast serving professional wedding planners. The show is established, respected, and features high-quality guests — but we believe we are under-leveraging it as a growth asset.
We are looking for a seasoned podcast growth strategist to come in as a consultant and thought partner — not an editor, not a social media poster, not a VA.
This is a strategy-first engagement.

Our podcast, Wedding Industry Insider, serves the same audience and features respected industry leaders. We already have:
- Strong brand credibility
- High-quality guests
- A capable in-house content lead who can execute operational workstreams
- Email marketing and webinar funnels in place
- What we need is someone who can help us architect the growth and distribution system around the podcast.
What We’re Looking For
We want someone who has successfully grown a niche B2B podcast and can show evidence of meaningful results (downloads, subscribers, email growth, revenue impact, etc.).
You should be able to:
- Audit our current podcast strategy
- Identify missed growth levers
- Design a clear podcast growth roadmap
- Recommend distribution systems (organic + potentially paid)
- Help us integrate the podcast more tightly into our marketing funnel
- Provide specific, prioritized execution guidance
We do not need someone to:
- Edit episodes
- Post clips to social media
- Manage publishing workflows
- We already have execution support in-house.
Scope of Engagement
This would begin as a consulting project, with:
- Audit of current podcast performance & positioning
- Competitive analysis within our niche
- Growth opportunity assessment
- Clear strategic roadmap (prioritized)
- Defined KPIs and measurement plan
If the engagement goes well, there may be opportunity for ongoing advisory support.
Ideal Candidate
You have:
- Direct experience scaling a podcast in a niche or B2B industry
- A track record of building audience growth systems (not just content calendars)
- Strong strategic thinking
- Clear communication skills
Experience aligning podcasts with revenue-generating funnels
Bonus:
- Experience in SaaS or professional services
- Experience in authority-building media strategies
