Company Name: Artia Solutions Department: Clinical Operations Location: Tallahassee / Remote, US Supervisor: Senior Manager of Clinical Operations #LI-Remote Principal Duties & Responsibilities • Research and transfer data from Medicaid pharmacy websites to Capsule with attention to detail and accuracy. o Research utilization management (prior authorization requirements, step therapy requirements, preferred drug list positioning, etc.) trends across a wide variety of therapeutic areas in Medicaid o Verify data by comparing it to source documents and updating existing data in Capsule or client deliverables • Utilize Capsule data to create individualized client deliverables (i.e., competitive outlooks, slide decks, PDL status comparisons, etc.). • Export data from the Capsule or retrieve electronic files as requested for internal or external delivery. • Perform regular backups of client deliverables to ensure data preservation. • Collaborate with the clinical team to help clients develop effective messaging (P&T testimonies, slide decks, etc.) that strongly convey the clinical differentiation of client’s products to Medicaid Pharmacy decision-makers. • Collaborate with the Capsule Research & Support (CRS) to support clinical accuracy of monitoring tools (i.e., Alert and Calendar Task Force (ACTF), Artia App, Capsule). • Utilize Excel proficiently. • Utilize colleagues, Advantage+, Artia Alerts, and other appropriate sources to intentionally expand Medicaid awareness and policy knowledge to assist in professional growth. Occasional Duties or Projects • Assist in managing Artia’s monitoring tools via Alert and Calendar Task Force (ACTF) coverage. • Client Clinical Messaging Reviews (i.e., review and provide feedback to client). • Competitive Drug Outlooks (i.e., research, prepare, and deliver to internal team or client). • Other client specific clinical-based deliverables as needed. • Present information both internally to colleagues and externally to clients as needed. Physical & Environmental Requirements • Ability to remain seated for extended periods while performing desk-based tasks. • Ability to use a computer and related office equipment (keyboard, mouse, phone, etc.) for extended periods of time. • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds for occasional office tasks (e.g., moving files, setting up equipment, etc.). • Ability to occasionally walk, bend, or stoop to access files or office equipment. • Good vision and manual dexterity to handle paperwork, documents, and office technology. • Ability to communicate effectively in person, via phone, and in writing with colleagues and clients. Educational and/or Experience Requirements • RPh or PharmD from an accredited institution required. • Active pharmacist license in the relevant state(s). • It is the responsibility of the employee to complete all CE requirements specific to the state for which they are licensed to practice. • Experience in pharmacy practice, clinical research, industry market access, or other relevant equivalent experience desired. • Strong understanding of Medicaid regulations, policies, and clinical trial processes. • Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets. • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Clinical Operations is a fast-paced team comprised of pharmacists that are responsible for collecting and analyzing data across the company to assist other team members and leadership in making sound decisions. The Clinical Operations Pharmacist performs vital product Medicaid coverage and access research which is incorporated into various client deliverables and Capsule for internal and external users.
