- Review and accept charge sessions from assigned charge work queues with a high level of accuracy, analyzing charges to determine when required information is not provided or there is a discrepancy in the information given.
- Refer discrepancies to appropriate individuals for follow-up and provide documentation to support staff as needed.
- Assist in other clerical assignments, such as scanning, filing, mail processing/delivery, and patient registration.
- Input payments and adjustments, reviewing insurance explanation of benefits to ensure that appropriate payments and adjustments are applied according to contractual requirements.
