About the position
Responsibilities
• Support at least 3 in-person scholar events each year for the Nina Scholars program, including pre-event planning and day-of support.
• Craft engaging content for the Nina Scholars Canvas Portal and oversee discussions with scholars.
• Conduct outreach efforts to alumni of the Maricopa Nina Mason Pulliam Legacy Scholars program, serving as a point of contact.
• Assist with case management for students in the Bridging Success program, including data entry and progress tracking.
• Research and identify community resources to meet client needs and assist with on-campus events.
• Maintain communication channels to reach out to students, including conducting outreach via email and phone calls.
• Provide administrative support, including scheduling appointments and preparing reports.
Requirements
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working directly with diverse and vulnerable populations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Nice-to-haves
• Experience working in higher education, social services, or a related field.
• Associate's degree or higher, in progress or obtained.
