Description As an integral member of the Communications and Fundraising team, this position will serve as the architect of our visual identity, strategically developing our brand across all digital frontiers. This role will leverage sophisticated graphic design to build a recognizable and trusted aesthetic that resonates with donors and partners alike. By crafting high-impact assets for social media, publication, web, and more, this position will transform our mission into a thumb-stopping digital presence, ensuring our narrative is not only heard but felt. Requirements Activities include but are not limited to the following:  The Multimedia Specialist is responsible for conceptualizing and producing engaging visual content across various digital platforms. This role sits at the intersection of graphic design, video production, and digital storytelling. You will be the primary architect of the brand's visual identity, transforming complex ideas into compelling assets that captivate audiences and drive engagement. Content Creation – Produce high quality videos, animations, motion graphics, and photographs for digital and print platforms. Design & Development – Conceptualize, design and edit multimedia assets such as graphics, web content, and interactive presentations. Technical Production – Utilize industry-standard tools to create and refine projects. Collaboration – Work with agency leadership to create content that aligns with branding and communication goals.  Platform Optimization – Ensure all content is optimized for various platforms, including social media, websites, and mobile devices. Asset Management – Maintain and organize a library of digital assets, including images, video footage, and audio files. Maintenance – Manage and troubleshoot multimedia equipment and software. Supervision Responsibilities - None Universal Responsibilities - Comply with all pertinent regulatory and agency regulations and operating standards. - Establish a work environment that creates positive communication between supervisors and employees and assimilates new employees to the Agency’s culture, values, and mission. - Participate in activities as part of the team that may include meetings, training, and committees. - Other duties as assigned. Required Skills & Qualifications - Ability to juggle multiple deadlines and see a project from storyboard to final render. - Must be comfortable taking feedback from stakeholders and working closely with marketing and copy teams. - Must be Adaptable to stay ahead of fast-moving digital trends and emerging AI creative tools. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Excellent interpersonal skills. - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. - Excellent time management skills. - Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite specifically Excel and Outlook programs. - Accepts and readily adapts to changing priorities, new ideas, strategies, procedures and methods.  - Makes decisions in a timely manner.  Qualifications/Education/Experience Requirements - Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in multimedia design, graphic design, film, video production, or related field.   - Minimum 1-3 years of experience. - Expert Level Skill in Adobe Creative Cloud Suite including InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator  - Must have the ability to create 2D/3D animations and visual effects to enhance storytelling. - Strong understanding of Graphic Design including typography, color theory, and layout for both web and social media. - Expert in visual storytelling with a keen eye for composition, pacing and narrative structure. - Must have the ability to interpret brand guidelines and ensure all content remains consistent with the organizations' voice (brand alignment). - Knowledge of Wordpress content management and technical specifications for different platforms. - This position does / does not have regular and substantial unsupervised and unrestricted physical contact with individuals receiving services and is required by law to be fingerprinted for a criminal history record check under NYS Department of Health, Office of Child and Family Services and State Central Register.   - Valid NY State Driver’s License. - Remote Work Agreement Required upon hire. Physical Demands - Ability to quickly address any emergent issues without losing focus on the task at hand. - The employee must have full sight and hearing with fluency in the English language. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.   - The employee frequently is required to stand, walk and sit.
