Database Developer Migration
Key Requirements
• Deep SQL: 5+ years of experience with T-SQL (MSSQL) and advanced PL/PostgreSQL (v. 5+). Must understand complex data types, dynamic SQL, and set-based logic.
• Migration Experience: MsSQL to PostgreSQL.
• Critical Review: The capability to audit AI-generated code for syntax errors, security flaws, and performance bottlenecks rather than blindly accepting the output.
• Performance Tuning: Experience analyzing execution plans in PostgreSQL to optimize queries previously built for MSSQLs optimizer.
