We are seeking a detail-oriented freelancer to assist with legal research, data entry, and case tracking. The goal is to create a comprehensive, organized spreadsheet that tracks ongoing legal cases, statuses, deadlines, and related documentation. The ideal candidate is accurate, organized, and familiar with legal terminology, and able to work independently to ensure data integrity. Responsibilities: Conduct legal research using public records, dockets, and other sources Enter and organize case information in a clear, user-friendly spreadsheet Track case status, deadlines, filings, and outcomes Verify and cross-check data for accuracy Provide regular updates on progress Requirements: Strong attention to detail and accuracy Experience with Excel, Google Sheets, or similar spreadsheet tools Familiarity with legal research and terminology preferred Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Excellent communication skills Deliverables: Fully formatted spreadsheet with tracked cases and key information Clean, organized, and easy-to-update structure Notes on sources, deadlines, and next steps for each case Project Scope: Less than 30 hrs/week Duration: 1–3 months (potential for long-term collaboration) Hourly or fixed-rate depending on experience Skills Required: Legal Research Data Entry Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets Case Management / Tracking How to Apply: Please provide: Brief description of relevant experience Examples of spreadsheets or legal research work (if available) Your hourly rate or fixed price for the project Estimated timeline for completion We are looking for someone reliable, professional, and detail-oriented who can help us streamline our legal case tracking workflow.
