About the Role
Join Crowd Strike's IT Go-to-Market team as a Lead Mobile (iOS Developer) and build the mobile applications that empower our sales and partner teams to stop breaches worldwide. You'll maintain and enhance business-critical iOS and Android apps used daily by our partners, working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where your code directly impacts how we serve our customers. What
You’ll Do
• Design, develop, review, deploy and maintain iOS applications with a focus on performance, security, responsiveness, and exceptional user experience
• Hands On:
Mentor and lead a team of off-shore iOS and Android developers - strong preference given for candidates with a background in iOS and Android development
• Collaborate cross-functionally with business analysts, alliances/channel team, backend engineers, and stakeholders to conceptualize, scope, and deliver new features and enhancements
• Write clean, maintainable code following Swift best practices, design patterns, and architectural principles (MVVM, Clean Architecture, etc.)
• Conduct comprehensive testing including unit tests, UI tests, and debugging to ensure applications meet Crowd Strike's quality and security standards
• Optimize application performance for speed, memory efficiency, and compatibility across iOS devices and OS versions
• Participate actively in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and mentoring team members to elevate code quality
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to app performance, crashes, functionality, and third-party integrations
• Integrate with backend services using RESTful APIs, ensuring secure and efficient data communication
• Stay current with iOS ecosystem updates (Swift
UI, Combine, async/await), Apple guidelines, and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement. Staying current with Android ecosystem updates will also be required for this role as the application is supported in both
• Understanding with Android ecosystem updates (Jetpack Compose, Kotlin Coroutines, Flow, Hilt), Material Design guidelines, and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement
• Contribute to technical planning, including effort estimation, sprint planning, and architectural decisions
What You’ll Need
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar work experience
• A minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in a directly related area, during which both technical and professional capabilities have been clearly demonstrated
• Strong proficiency in Swift with hands‑on experience using UIKit, Swift
UI, Core Data and Combine frameworks
• Strong preference given to candidates with some Android development experience (Kotlin, Android SDK, Jetpack, Gradle build system, Android Studio and Google Play Store provisioning and signing)
• Experience with Xcode, Interface Builder and Instruments. Platform knowledge of the app lifecycle, memory management (ARC) and App Store provisioning and signing
