About the position
Responsibilities
• Collaborate with key cross functional stakeholders to deliver actionable perspectives on financial and inventory risks & opportunities.
• Forecast macro-level consumer demand for Nike products to maximize revenue and optimize inventory.
• Partner with Nike stores and gender teams to drive fact-based business decisions.
• Understand product strategies to inform consumer demand and inventory forecasts.
• Provide marketplace capacity forecasts to inform gender consumer demand and inventory shape.
• Partner with territories on monthly sales and stock plans.
• Cultivate an end-to-end process improvement mindset.
• Partner with territory assortment planning teams to elevate planning capabilities.
• Develop and manage topline, long-range consumer demand, margin and inventory forecasts.
• Develop Marketplace Capacity signal to inform sourcing and planning.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Science in Industrial Engineering, Engineering, or Computer Science.
• 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or strategy-related occupation.
• Experience in forecasting.
• Experience in data analysis.
• Proficiency in Excel and database building.
• Strong storytelling skills.
• Experience in market analysis.
• Experience in meeting facilitation.
• Experience in stock and sales planning.
• Experience with Tableau reports.
