Job Summary
The Lead Data Analyst will be responsible for leading the development of business insights and decision support capabilities across the organization. This includes designing and implementing data visualizations, reports, and dashboards to help stakeholders make informed business decisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and experience working with large datasets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex data visualizations, reports, and dashboards to support business decision-making across various stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions that drive business outcomes.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business strategy and operations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Lead the development of data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality, integrity, and security.
- Partner with data engineers and analysts to design and implement data pipelines, ETLs, and data architectures that support business needs.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation of data systems, processes, and tools.
- Present findings and insights to senior leaders and other stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, MIS, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a media or entertainment industry.
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or other programming languages.
- Experience working with data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas simply.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to senior leaders and other stakeholders.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with cloud-based data platforms, such as Snowflake or Redshift.
- Familiarity with data engineering tools, such as Apache Spark, Hive, or Airflow.
- Experience working with machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling techniques.
- Certification in data analysis, data science, or a related field.
