Job Summary
We're seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Experience Ambassador. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, resolving customer issues, and promoting our products and services. Key Responsibilities
- Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
- Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Model and share customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
- Provide customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service.
- Recommend items for sale to customers and recommend trade-up and/or companion items.
- Register customer purchases on assigned cash register, collect cash, and distribute change as requested.
- Process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed.
- Keep counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, take inventory, and maintain records.
- Implement Company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss.
- Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products.
- Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise.
- Assist with separation of food items and product placement as specified by policies/procedures.
- Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service and suggestive sell of promotional photo products.
- Assume web pick-up responsibilities, including monitoring orders, filling orders, and delivering orders to customers.
- Assist with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring a clean, neat, and orderly store condition and appearance.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, and maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
- Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.
Essential Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous customer service experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail or customer-facing environment.
- Knowledge of store systems and store equipment.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
