Key Responsibilities:

• Review and reconcile supporting payment details to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Verify policy terms of coverage and process payments due
• Ensure payments adhere to policy and departmental guidelines
• Manage ceded reinsurance billing, including invoice distribution, follow-up on outstanding amounts, and reporting
• Support reconciliation and escheat processes related to claim payments
• Cross-train and serve as a backup for other Finance team members as needed
• Perform additional duties to ensure the overall success of the Finance team

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Powercomp, Freedom Reinsurance System (FRS), and Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interact with employees at all levels
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to take ownership
• Team-oriented, approachable, and self-motivating, with a positive attitude and enthusiasm

Preferred Qualifications:

• College diploma or university degree in accounting or finance
