Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced and results-driven Customer Service Representative/Sales Associate to join our team at blithequark. As a key member of our sales team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, driving sales growth, and maintaining a positive and productive work environment. Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Drive sales growth through upselling, cross-selling, and promoting blithequark's products and services
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including displays and merchandise
- Build and maintain productive relationships with customers, colleagues, and management
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems and Microsoft Office
- Participate in sales promotions, events, and training programs to enhance sales skills and knowledge
- Work collaboratively with the sales team to achieve sales targets and goals
- Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the success of the store
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
- A friendly and energetic personality with a customer service focus
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including Saturdays and Sundays
- Ability to lift and carry 50+ pounds
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable using computers, typing, and navigating POS systems
- Highly motivated and results-driven, with a proven track record of sales success
- Fast learner, able to pick up tasks quickly after being shown
- Positive attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile to drive sales
- Retail experience, knowledge of POS systems, and Microsoft Office (especially Publisher) are a plus
- The UPS Store experience is a HUGE plus!
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Notary Public
- Experience with commission-based sales
- Knowledge of sales strategies and techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
