JMP is a subsidiary of SAS that empowers scientists and engineers through statistical software products. The Digital Operations team is seeking a motivated intern to support ERP systems, document business processes, and contribute to process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Assist the team with testing and documenting changes to ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Salesforce, or related applications)
- Help identify data inconsistencies, perform cleanup activities, and support reporting and dashboard updates
- Capture and organize workflow documentation, training materials, and standard operating procedures
- Participate in functional testing of new features, integrations, or automation scripts
- Explore emerging technologies or tools that could improve efficiency across Finance, Operations, or Sales systems
- Work with internal business users to understand how technology supports daily operations and assist in identifying opportunities for improvement
Skills
- Currently an undergraduate or graduate student at an accredited college/university pursuing a degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Technology, or a related field
- Strong interest in ERP systems, automation, or business process improvement
- Excellent problem solving and analytical thinking skills
- Strong communication and documentation abilities
- Eagerness to learn new tools and collaborate in a team environment
- Not graduating prior to Dec 2026
- Exposure to coursework in ERP systems (eg NetSuite, Oracle, Workday, SAP)
- Familiarity with querying or scripting languages (eg JavaScript, SQL, Python)
- Experience with Excel, Google Sheets, or data-visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc)
