All Jobs  >  Chief Product Officer Inteleos Inc Apply Chief Product Officer Fully Remote • Remote Worker - N/A Type Full-time Description Overall Position Purpose The Chief Product Officer (CPO) provides executive leadership for product strategy, development, and portfolio management across the organization’s dual business environments. This role leads the organization’s transformation from project-based delivery to a product-based strategy, establishing scalable product discipline across both established certification products and emerging global education offerings. The CPO builds and embeds the capabilities required to support this shift, enabling faster decision-making, reduced friction to market, and stronger product outcomes. The role balances the demands of regulated, high-stakes testing products with the speed, iteration, and product-market fit required for emerging education offerings. The Chief Product Officer will promote and support the Inteleos culture of inclusivity. Core Responsibilities - Establish product vision and strategic direction across the organization, defining how product serves both mature certification business and emerging education and international markets;  - Lead product portfolio decisions and resource allocation, setting priorities across all product initiatives;  - Design and implement a product operating model that supports both the optimization of mature, regulated products and the rapid development of new offerings through discovery and iteration; - Partner with the Executive Team to align product strategy with business strategy, market opportunities, and operational capabilities;  - Conduct comprehensive assessment of current product capabilities, gaps, and opportunities and design the organizational product structure that serves both business units; - Align team structure, roles, and accountability to enable effective execution across business units; - Build and institutionalize product frameworks and processes that enable sustained product discipline and scalability;  - Establish decision-making governance that accelerates product delivery, removes organizational barriers, and reduces friction to market;  - Set direction for high-value product opportunities that deliver tangible wins and demonstrate the effectiveness of the product model;  - Ensure established certification products maintain regulatory rigor and compliance standards while building emerging education products with appropriate quality frameworks and speed; - Build product thinking capability across the organization through coaching, enablement, and partnership with cross-functional teams;  - Lead the forecasting, setting, and monitoring of Council and departmental budget allocations to align with strategic objectives and ensure compliance with Board-approved financial policies; - Drive international market product expansion, understanding localization, regulatory differences, and cultural adaptation requirements;  - Define and establish the product leadership model for the organization’s dual business units, setting direction for long-term structure and success;  - Represent the organization as a strategic product leader in credentialing, certification, and education markets; and - Other duties as assigned. Supervisory Environment - Subject only to minimal review. - Responsible for contributing to the overall strategic direction of Inteleos to reflect the mission as established by the Board of Directors. - Makes decisions that have the maximum effect on the success or failure of Inteleos to meet its overall long-term objectives. - Serves as the final authority for the Association regarding their functional area. Work Environment The incumbent will work at a desk in an office environment or an approved remote location. This position may require evening and weekend hours, as well as occasional travel. There are minimal requirements to lift or move equipment. Requirements Required Education/Experience - Master's degree in Business, Product Management, Technology, or related field;  - Certifications in product management, product strategy, or digital transformation, preferred; and  - Minimum of ten years of progressive product leadership experience in high-growth environments with at least three years at Chief or Vice President of Product level, ideally within credentialing, education technology, certification, professional development, or platform-based organizations. Required Qualifications/ Skills - Proven experience leading product organizations that balance the optimization of mature, compliance-driven offerings with the creation of new, market-defining products;  - Track record of transforming organizations into product-led environments with clear practices, accountability, and scalable systems;  - Experience leading products within professional ecosystems such as credentialing, certification, education, licensure, or related fields that support career advancement and industry infrastructure; - Proven ability to partner at the executive level, shaping strategy and aligning cross-functional leaders to deliver on organizational priorities;  - Experience building and leading high-performing teams with clear ownership, autonomy, and accountability;  - Experience leveraging AI and emerging technologies to drive strategic decision-making, operational effectiveness, and organizational growth - Track record of launching and scaling products across diverse international markets, managing regulatory complexity, localization, and market-specific adoption;  - Deep expertise in product operating models, product-market fit validation, and product portfolio management;  - Demonstrated excellence in people leadership, including team evaluation, capability development, and organizational design; - Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and executive communication skills, both oral and written;  - Strong analytical and practical judgment skills with the ability to create clarity from ambiguity and solve complex problems; - Mission-driven mindset with understanding of nonprofit healthcare constraints and commitment to improving global health; and - High degree of reliability, integrity, and ethical leadership.
