Role Description
The Senior Consultant – Regional Delivery will drive the operational execution of this program across partner countries, ensuring that technical solutions are effectively translated into national capacity and sustainable institutional ownership.
• Lead end-to-end workplan development with national counterparts and oversee operational execution of scoping visits, needs assessments, and deployment activities.
• Ensure the operational feasibility of the CI-EWARS platform design by validating assumptions against local infrastructure, data availability, and institutional readiness.
• Translate technical blueprints into implementable components and manage the national training rollout strategy to ensure sustainable ownership of surveillance tools by government partners.
• Design and facilitate in-person and hybrid knowledge exchange workshops across technical assistance countries to share lessons learned, tools, and innovations.
• Work closely with country teams to support stakeholder consultations, key informant interviews, and field assessments that inform system design and adaptation.
• Coordinate with technical experts, Ministry of Health counterparts, and Global Fund technical assistance implementing partners to ensure alignment, reduce duplication, and foster collaboration across workstreams.
• Develop high-quality communication materials, including technical reports, presentations, and briefs for internal and external audiences.
• Travel internationally (~15%) to technical assistance countries as required.
Qualifications
• Master’s degree in Public Health (MPH), Epidemiology, Health Informatics, or a related discipline, with a minimum of 6 years of progressive professional experience in relevant roles.
• Demonstrated expertise in technical assistance delivery, capacity strengthening, or program implementation within national health systems.
• Strong familiarity with health data ecosystems, national surveillance architectures, and the current landscape of AI and data analytics tools applied to public health.
• Proven experience managing or supporting technology implementation, digital health rollouts, or data platform deployments in low- and middle-income country (LMIC) settings.
• Track record of leading complex, multi-stakeholder projects from concept through implementation, with the ability to navigate diverse institutional environments and competing priorities.
• Exceptional ability to communicate across technical and policy audiences, translating complex data and system concepts into actionable guidance for decision-makers and frontline staff.
• Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills with a bias toward practical, results-oriented solutions.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, including the ability to represent the organization externally and produce compelling materials for diverse audiences.
• Written and oral fluency in French is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to build and sustain trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across government, technology, and global health sectors.
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally.
Preferred Qualifications
• Prior experience in global health, One Health, or data-for-development use cases, particularly in Sub-Saharan Africa or other LMIC contexts.
• Track record of designing and delivering technical training programs, bootcamps, or structured capacity-building initiatives for government or health sector audiences.
• Experience facilitating multi-country learning exchanges, communities of practice, or cross-border knowledge-sharing initiatives.
