Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in IBM Netezza and IBM DataStage, along with hands-on or working experience in Snowflake and Databricks. The role involves designing, building, and supporting scalable data pipelines across legacy and modern cloud data platforms.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using IBM DataStage
• Work extensively with IBM Netezza for data modeling, transformations, and performance tuning
• Build and support data pipelines in Snowflake and Databricks
• Develop complex SQL queries for large-scale data processing and validation
• Support data ingestion, transformation, and reconciliation processes
• Monitor and troubleshoot production data pipelines
• Collaborate with BI, analytics, and cloud teams to support reporting and analytics use cases
• Document data flows, transformations, and technical specifications
Required Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer / ETL Developer
• Strong hands-on experience with IBM DataStage
• Strong experience working with IBM Netezza
• Advanced SQL skills
Preferred
• Experience with Snowflake and/or Databricks
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
• Knowledge of Python or Shell scripting
• Experience in data migration or modernization projects
