We are seeking a detail‑oriented, process‑focused Consultant who thrives in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment. In this role, you will lead complex business and systems process analysis, design, and operational management to drive efficiency and standardization across the NSS team. You’ll manage process‑related tools, communications, and collaboration to guide key project-related activities through the full lifecycle.
This is an associate opportunity within Nationwide. The title Consultant refers to the job classification in the organization.
As a trusted expert, you will:
• Provide consultation to leaders and partners on process, continuous improvement, and reporting on rewards and recognition.
• Lead innovation efforts and streamline workflow processes for greater efficiency.
• Evaluate and enhance processes using benchmarking, modeling, pilots, and prototyping to ensure optimal performance.
Additionally, you will mentor others on process design techniques, advise on tools/systems to support projects, and contribute to the strategic vision for process excellence. This role is ideal for someone recognized for their ability to solve complex operational challenges and lead impactful process design initiatives that are sustainable and drive results for the business.

Qualifications
• Undergraduate degree in business, mathematics or related field preferred.
• Process-related certifications preferred.
• Product-related technical insurance course work, e.g., CPCU, CPU, LOMA, preferred.
• Typically, eight or more years of experience in business process design or operations.
Requirements
• Maintains and comprehends business process operations or redesign techniques, methods and tools.
• Must have demonstrated expertise in process analysis, process design and process implementation.
• Demonstrated knowledge of project management concepts and techniques required.
• Proven understanding of customer business environment.
• Proficiency in process development or process operations preferred.
• Proven leadership skills including ability to virtually lead teams.
• Strong ability to work with process vendors in the delivery of project solutions.
• Possess strong communication skills and the ability to make decisions and recommendations on process strategies.
