• Promote student success by providing preventive services and comprehensive school counseling programs
• Plan for postsecondary options
• Manage emotions and apply interpersonal skills
• Focus on college and career readiness
• Deliver classroom instruction
• Analyze student data and develop programs for intervention plans
• Provide short-term counseling and referrals as needed
• Collaborate in developing graduation plans
• Ability to travel up to 20% for professional development
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree
• 0-1 year of related professional experience
• Missouri School Counselor License
• Ability to clear required background check
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Web-based search engines, and database systems
• Flexible schedule; Ability to travel as needed
• Master’s degree in school counseling (preferred)
• Experience with distance learning (preferred)
