Bousfields Inc. is a collaborative consulting firm consisting of planners, urban designers, and community engagement specialists. They are seeking a Graphic Designer to assist in the preparation and development of graphical components for reports and promotional materials, while maintaining brand standards and collaborating with various departments.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation, coordination, and development of graphical components of reports, proposals, and promotional materials
- Perform professional work related to a variety of projects
- Maintain brand standards for all reports, communications, and in-house materials by utilizing templates
- Extend conceptual designs provided by Design Managers and Senior Designers into design implementation
- Collaborate with internal clients, departments and/or other colleagues
Skills
- Minimum of one to two years' experience as a graphic designer
- Certification or degree in a relevant discipline and related experience
- Foundational knowledge and experience with Adobe Creative Cloud
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, including formatting and layout skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop with fundamental knowledge of basic tools
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills and graphic communication skills using a variety of media
- Demonstrates a high level of professionalism and excellent quality work is communicated through layout and the use of visuals
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment as needed
- Ability to work on and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Detail oriented and self-motivated with excellent organization skills
- SketchUp and/or AutoCAD experience is an asset
