This fully remote role allows you to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students while working from the comfort of your home. Responsibilities: Â Provide specialized instruction and support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing. Â Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each studentÂs needs. Â Collaborate with families, educators, and support staff to enhance student learning and development. Â Utilize technology and innovative teaching methods to engage students effectively. Qualifications: Â Valid certification as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing in Illinois. Â Prior experience working with deaf and hard-of-hearing students is preferred. Â Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Requirements: Â Liability insurance is required.
