We are looking to expand our roster with a Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Backend-focused) located in Latin America to join a client-facing team through a staff augmentation engagement. This role requires strong backend expertise, while collaborating across the full stack to support scalable, high-performance systems.
The ideal candidate has solid experience building backend services, APIs, and data-driven systems, and can work closely with frontend teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
We are looking for:
• 6+ years of professional experience as a Full-Stack Engineer
• Strong hands-on experience with Node.js and/or Python in production environments
• Experience with React and Next.js
• Proficiency with TypeScript
• Solid experience building and integrating RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL
• Proven experience working with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.)
• Experience with AWS and cloud-based environments
• Strong understanding of backend scalability, performance optimization, and observability
• Ability to take ownership of backend systems and work autonomously
• Excellent communication skills in English
Nice to have:
• Background in Healthcare, ERP, or regulated industries
• Experience working on high-traffic or consumer-facing platforms
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Docker
