Position: Fractional CTO (Digital Transformation & Remote Operations)
Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking for a Fractional Chief Technology Officer (CTO) on behalf of a client embarking on a broad digital transformation journey. This senior technology leader will play a pivotal advisory role — modernizing infrastructure, streamlining operations, and introducing structure and best practices across regional and remote teams.
The ideal candidate brings both strategic foresight and operational discipline — able to assess, design, and implement technology frameworks that strengthen performance and scalability.
[working arrangements : 3 days a week]
Key Responsibilities
• Technology Leadership & Advisory
• Partner with senior management to shape and execute a digital transformation roadmap.
• Evaluate current infrastructure, systems, and processes for modernization opportunities.
• Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to the IT leadership team.
Cloud & Infrastructure Modernization
• Lead the migration of systems from on-premise to cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Define governance, cybersecurity, and cost-management frameworks for sustainable operations.
• Recommend automation tools to improve efficiency and visibility.
Offshoring & Remote Workforce Management
• Develop strategies to offshore selected IT functions while maintaining performance quality.
• Create and implement SOPs to manage distributed teams across regions.
• Establish clear communication, performance metrics, and reporting structures.
Operational Excellence & Process Optimization
• Standardize IT policies, workflows, and escalation procedures
• Introduce collaboration and tracking tools to support remote delivery.
• Build measurable KPIs for IT and cross-functional performance.
Ideal Profile
• 10+ years in senior technology leadership (CTO, Head of IT, or equivalent).
• Proven experience leading digital transformation and cloud migration programs.
• Strong operational mindset — comfortable building structure, process, and governance from the ground up.
• Skilled in managing offshore and remote teams, with an emphasis on accountability and clarity.
• Strategic yet hands‑on leader with a pragmatic, delivery‑driven approach.
