Job Description:
• Required to supervise field work onsite focusing on Safety, Quality, and Efficiency
• Support lifting operations of equipment at heights over 250’
• Required to coach/conduct team members on rigging applications/inspections
• Coach/conduct safe and efficient repairs to all Wind Turbine electrical systems
• Detailed knowledge and skill in generators, converters, controllers, and electrical equipment
• Coach/train personnel on how to perform proper isolation of electrical components (LOTO)
• Ability to recognize MAJOR faults and develop corrective actions with engineering team
Requirements:
• Minimum of 10 YEARS direct product experience on one or more platforms
• Ability to read and interpret schematics by various Wind Turbine manufacturers
• Proficient in using dial calipers, fluke meters, and all other tools used on WTG
• Experience with SCADA and other monitoring tools for WTG
• Attention to detail and safety focused
• Travel up to 75% of the time
• Must be proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English
