FAA Data Engineer - Multiple Openings - Mid to Senior Level Strategic Innovation Group (SIG) seeks an experienced Data Analyst with Alteryx experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, with hands-on experience in working with BI reporting and visualization. A successful candidate will be offered the following: • Great work/life balance • Eligibility for performance-based participation in cash bonuses • Excellent benefits, including health, dental, vision, generous PTO, a 401(k) with match, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, and a health savings account (HSA) • Remote work with preferrence given to DC-Metro Area ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following: • Build worksheets, dashboards and data sources in Tableau Desktop • Daily data validation and reconciliation • Utilize Presto to connect Postgres DB to Tableau Online for reporting data • Run Alteryx workflows to alter, clean and consolidate data to be loaded from SplashBI, Oracle DB, Denodo, csv, xslx and txt files into Postgres database • Validation of Alteryx workflows that facilitate loading DELPHI data into EIM • Configure Alteryx server to schedule workflows, allow for coordination within team in Collections so all team members can share, allow others to run and view workflows loaded to the Collections • Work with FAA Alteryx and Tableau Admin teams to look for ways to make Alteryx and Tableau more efficient and better use of resources REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor's or master's degree in relevant degrees • 6+ years of experience with SQL queries (Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Postgres, MYSQL, etc) PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS • Current Public Trust clearance or higher. • Experience with Denodo, Starburst EIM SQL, and Oracle EBS is desirable • Knowledge of maintaining CMMI ML3 for development is a plus SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS/SECURITY CLEARANCE • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
