About the Team and Role The Verification Associate will work closely with the operations team, under the direction of the Verification Team Lead, to ensure that invoices meet client operating standards and credit standards established in the Factoring Group. You will be responsible for making outbound inquiries, processing data, and performing administrative tasks, including new client funding's, as agreed upon with the Operations Manager. Your attention to detail, strong communication skills, and commitment to customer service will be essential in this role. Key Responsibilities Ensure the asset quality of invoices being purchased meets Credit standards established in the Factoring Group Verify that receivables purchased meet the standards set out in client operating standards Accurately process data and perform administrative tasks consistent with operations procedures Verify invoices via phone calls to debtors and website lookups where appropriate Identify and note any issues relating to 'paper' collateral, such as new debtors, errors, missing documentation, and debtors over credit limit Ensure that policy exceptions and material issues are actioned and notified to the Verifications Team Leader Share and implement best practices within the team to continuously improve processes Experience and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will bring: Strong data processing skills, with attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Understanding of transportation documentation and industry standards A commitment to customer service and a customer-centric approach Organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects Ability to work in a participative manner in a fast-moving team environment A self-starter mentality, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Essential Skills and Competencies In addition to the above qualifications, you will possess: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders Ability to work in a dynamic environment, with a willingness to adapt to changing priorities and processes Career Growth and Development Opportunities At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
